Here in MO!

I just got to my hometown in Missouri! Man, I'm missing the sun already. When I was packing yesterday, I started getting some anxiety about not being able to scrap for a whole month so I decided to pack my tools and some favorite paper to bring with me. I can't have all of these memories going all around me and not be able to scrap them!

And have you heard of Archivers? My little brother just took me for the first time and I thought I was going to faint! I got so many fantastic deals, and now i just have to figure out how to get all of this stuff home! I wish there was a store closer to my town :(

Working on the American Crafts weekly challenge, will post it soon.

Cosmo Cricket and goodby to my paper trimmer for a while....

Good morning everyone! I just wanted to pop in and post a layout that I just finished! It is the last page of my 1st completed album of the year!!! Woo hoo! I pretty much used only Cosmo Cricket's line "Lil' Man". It was very appropriate for my son and his bestie at his 3rd birthday! Fun times! Hope you like it!
I decided to jump on the "banner" bandwagon! The little chipboard plane was PERFECT to pull my "buddies" banner!

On the rub-on sheets they have these super cute sayings and I knew that I was going to try to fit those words into my journaling. It took me forever but I'm very happy about the way it turned out!

"You two YOUNG boys were an absolute JOY to watch @ Dom's 3rd birthday party! No fighting over toys, just GENUINE FUN & LAUGHTER.  Dom even let Spencer help him open his birthday presents...INCREDIBLE!!! A TERRIFIC ending to an UNFORGETTABLE night!

This will be my last layout post for a while, I'm headed home to Missouri to visit family! I'm super excited! I'll try to hop on and post some pictures soon! When I get back I hope to be a CS4 pro! I just got it and completely flabbergasted! Have a wonderful day!

My Mind's Eye Challenge #9 - Blast from the Past

Here is my entry for the Blast from the Past challenge by My Mind's Eye. This is my beautiful niece Adrienne from when she was a baby. She was the firstborn grandchild in our family and incredibly SPOILED! Being a middle child I will never experience the glory of being the "Golden One"  or even being the "Baby" but at least I got to have the 1st grandchild from my husbands side! Whoo hoo!

*After reading the photgraphy tips on the My Mind's Eye Blog, I took more pictures this morning and replaced the ones I posted last night. MUCH BETTER!*

Penny Lane Wordbook

Here is a 6x12 wordbook that I made for my niece's 5th birthday. Her name is Adrienne but "Ren" for short.I just love My Mind's Eye and adore all of the fun and bright colors from Penny Lane! Since I only have a son, when I can make something for my nieces, I jump and run for pink Bazzill!! There are no pictures in the album because it was part of her present so I tried to be as exact as possible when cutting the photo mats and including what size the photo needs to be. I hope you enjoy!

Imaginisce March Sketch Challenge!

Here is my 1st sketch challenge! Yay me! It is for the Imginisce March Sketch Challenge. The cardstock is Bazzill Basics, patterned paper and rub-ons are "For Peeps Sake" and the ribbon is "A Shore Thing" I also used the Slice Basics Designs Card 2 for the letter and flowers. Check out all of the other details with the link below! Thanks for checking my LO out!
